Which batches are eligible for the convocation?
All university regular students who have passed their final examinations and graduated in the year 2024 are eligible for the 2024-2025 convocation.

I have already received my degree from the university. Am I still eligible to participate in the convocation event?
Yes, you are still eligible to attend the convocation even if you have already received your degree certificate.
Do I have to pay the degree fee again if I already have my degree and wish to attend the convocation?
No, you do not need to pay the degree fee again. You will only be required to pay the convocation event fees.
How much is the convocation fees?

When is the convocation scheduled?
The convocation is scheduled to be held in the last week of March. The exact date will be announced later.
If I am unable to attend the convocation due to an personal reasons, will I receive a refund of my fees?
No, you will not receive a refund of the event fees. However, if you have paid the degree fees and are unable to receive your degree on the day of the convocation, you can collect it later from the Office of the Controller of Examinations.
If I need to make corrections to my name, father's name, caste, or any other details, how can I get this done?
For corrections to your name, father's name, caste, or other details, you need to visit the Office of the Controller of Examinations with the required documents, such as your matriculation pass certificate and original CNIC.
Can I bring my parents with me?
Yes, you can bring parents with you. Please provide details of parents during the registration process.
If I am unable to receive degree due to any reason / circumstance, can my parents receive my degree on my behalf?
Yes, Your parents can receive the degree on your behalf.
What documents are required to attend the convocation?
To attend the convocation event, you need to provide the following documents:
  1. Proof of payment for the convocation fees (challan).
  2. A photocopy of pass certificate.
  3. A photocopy of your CNIC.
  4. A photocopy of the CNIC of any guests or parents who will be attending the convocation with you.
  5. If you have already received your degree, a photocopy of the degree is required.
Do I have to submit documents physically at any office?
No, you do not need to submit any documents physically. You only need to upload documents during the registration process.
Will the convocation gown and cap be included in the convocation fees?
No, the convocation gown and cap is not included in the convocation fees. You can obtain the gown and cap one day before the convocation or on the day of the convocation from the help desk by paying a nominal rental fee.
What is the venue for the convocation event?
The convocation will be held at the Benazir Convention Hall, Alma I.I. Kazi Campus, University of Sindh, Jamshoro.
I have obtained my degree from an affiliated college of the university. Can I still participate in the convocation?
Yes, you can participate in the convocation event. Please register yourself & upload documents during the registration process.
My record does not appear during the registration search. What should I do?
Please send a picture of your pass certificate and transcript to convocation@usindh.edu.pk and info@usindh.edu.pk so that your record can be added to the system. Mention “Add my record in convocation 2024-2025 database” as the subject of the email.
I am getting a duplicate record error during registration. What should I do?
You might have already registered please check you application in Track Application. If still face any issue please send a screenshot of the error, along with your roll number, CNIC number, and a picture of your pass certificate, to convocation@usindh.edu.pk and info@usindh.edu.pk.
